Year: 1040 FY
Characters: Nolani
Warnings: Character death, and reference to previous character deaths.
Since inheriting her mother's crown, Nolani had only visited Feredar once. It had been lonely, a little, but she'd had favorites, her niece, and letters from distant family.
And now she was returning--one last time--for her husband's funeral.
It was a quieter grief than for Lonura or Isshiri, and yet...he had somehow become her dearest friend. His death, so far away...
When she arrived, all of her focus would belong to her son and grandchildren, so she took the quiet journey to say a hundred private goodbyes to the husband she had loved more than she had ever realized.
