Notes: This takes place in the Incest AU

Tana sulked in her rooms for a full three days after Kellom told her he was going to marry again, once he found someone suitable. Stupid Mellir had to go ahead and exist and ruin everything. But now that she was calmer, she knew her tantrum hadn't really helped anything. What would help something would be to get rid of Mellir so Kellom no longer felt he had to cheat on her.

She knew him well. She had to have a proper plan when she came to him and suggested they remove the problem. The only problem was she wasn't exactly very good at making plans. But the thought of another woman touching her Kellom was more than enough incentive to sit down and list all of her options.

Drowning him and setting him on fire she rejected right away. While it would certainly be pleasing to watch him suffer for almost ruining everything, they would take too long and be too obvious. Likewise hiring someone to beat him to death.

Stabbing was an option--they could plan to hit exactly the right spot so it would be quick and not draw immediate attention by stupid Mellir screaming, and stage it to blame on some freaks or something, or one of Mellir’s less-refined friends, as if they had a silly drunken argument. Likewise bashing him over the head or breaking his neck.

Strangling and poisoning were the most discreet. If they did it right, strangling wouldn't leave any real marks. And poisoning could be done fast. The problem was, they weren't really satisfying. Not the way watching him bleed would be.

Stabbing it would have to be, then.

Satisfied with her choice, Tana drew a rough sketch of her brother, marking all the places where hitting him once would kill him quick. She'd bring the drawing when she snuck into Kellom's room tonight, have him pick where she'd stab him--she'd do it herself, of course. No reason to hire an assassin who might or might not be trustworthy, and of course Kellom had more important things to do than execute her plan. She'd give him Andrell as his heir as a lovely present--especially since his birthday was coming up--and then they'd be together forever.

Tana smiled and folded up the drawing as neatly as she could, sticking it up her sleeve. All was right with the world again.
