Their first kiss was tangy, sharp, spicy, heavy with wanting--all cinnamon and candied orange and excitement.
Their kisses after that were warm and sweet and loving, passionate and gentle, urgent and languorous all at once.
Their kiss when they said goodbye the first time was brief, but as heated and hard as they could get away with in public, leaving their lips tingling, letting them savor the moment and taste each other that much longer.
When they said goodbye for real, when they separated, when they were so angry and hurting and raw, they didn’t kiss at all.
Their kiss when they reunited was shy, uncertain, with faint traces of salt beneath the sweet.
