Notes: This takes place in the Murder AU
Deva crept into the nursery--Kellom and Mellir still slept there. She sat on the floor, watching them breathe. Since Papa's death, none of them--the boys or her sisters--had really been safe. She didn't think Sola knew what Mamma had done, and Keta and the boys were too young, but...
But she knew, and she was positive she was the only one who wanted her brothers safe and happy, not fighting over mages or politics or who killed who and why.
She leaned back against the wall and closed her eyes. Whatever else happened, they'd always have her.
