He stared down at the order. There was right and there was wrong, and this...
"Sorell?"
It couldn’t be right. There had to be limits.
"Sorell."
But there were reasons--good ones that Father shared in council.
"Please look at me."
He turned to Nida. First Mother's death, and now...
"What will you do?"
They're not human. Her death proved the need.
"Sorell?"
He looked down at the paper, then crumpled it and tossed it into the fire.
There was right and there was wrong, and confused though he was, Sorell could never support the wrong his father was committing.
