There are things he can do. The navigators--those who leave--aren't supposed to. Their workings are for safety, for speed, for guidance. Not this.
It's too hard to control.
There's always collateral damage.
This is a thing he must not do.
But if he doesn't...
They know the Glory. They know Taz. All the might of Feredar's navy is bearing down on them, and there will be no quarter.
He calls a storm, the largest he's ever formed. He throws the lightning at the enemy ships, feeling each impact, not needing to watch them burn.
