Taz all but shrieks with joy when Kes joins her on the Emerald Star, restraining herself from hugging her by a truly heroic effort of will. Even Kes, normally the steadier sister, is giggling and bouncing with excitement. They're young, they have the world at their feet, adventures just an ocean away to the east.
Kes grins bright up at her sister. They stand together on a rising tide of fame and glory; storm-sisters, air and water, and there's nothing in the world that can get between them or stop them.
