When she made her fortune, Taz built a house for herself on a cliff.
Not because she wanted to lord it over the people who'd mocked her birth rank. ...well, mostly not.
She built her house on a cliff because it was what she'd dreamed of as a little girl--all the adventure she could handle and a glorious high house to come home to.
And she built her house on a cliff so she could show it to her parents, to her sisters, to all the people who mattered--show them that she'd made good, and share it all with them.
